I hope they can see the value. It’s decent, but I know it could represent my business better. I’m genuinely proud to send people there.

How often do you change things like colours, photos, taglines, messaging, or design?

Constantly. I’m always designing something new because I’m not sure what’s working, and I don’t want to get bored with my designs. Occasionally. I make adjustments when things start feeling stale. Rarely. My identity needs to stay consistent.

A designer asks you to describe your business in three words.

Panic. I’d eventually come up with something, but I’d probably overthink it. Easy. I know exactly how I want people to experience my business.

When you look at your website, social media, printed materials, and emails together, they feel…

It’s a great mix of fonts, colours and styles. How else are you going to reach everyone? Mostly related, but not quite consistent. Like they all tell the same story. It would be easily recognized across several channels that it’s me/us.

When you see another business doing great marketing, what is your first thought?

Maybe I should be doing that too. That’s interesting. I wonder if something like that would work for me. Nice idea, but I know what fits my business and what doesn’t.
